GRA-415-X4813 Multi-Channel Advertise Design as a class project this brought together several components. A social media carousel, web banner, and animated web banner, plus a flyer. By using similar icons and a selection of colors from the brand style guide a cohesive apprentice was achieved across all the marketing materials. A selection of images was made from Unsplash a royalty-free website for photographers and artists, these images were selected to have a balance in colors and style and to appear to offer possible local purchasable products.
GRA-280-Q5048 Design thinking Graphic Design 23EWS For each design, the viewer or user is the primary target for the design. In this course, we were to create a process book and design three posters for a fictional restaurant. the company wanted to advertise to young professionals and college students who would ride the subway frequently. Using empathy as a guide we were to develop three posters to target the attention of the audience and bring to their attention the advertisement of free Wi-Fi in the restaurant. by using visual hierarchy in the text and contrasting or complementary colors to create visual balance in the compositions.
GRA-340-Q6115 Typography 23EW6, the project are the Planets Inhabited? magazine insert Is it a 2-page spread designed in Adobe InDesign. In this project the students were given the body copy and headline for the assignment the choice of font, photography, colors, and layout was all free for these students to select. Going with the Galaxy theme images were selected from the NASA royalty-free website and placed in a balanced five-grid layout. This composition shows visual harmony within typography consistency and simplicity of design. My idea was to find a good balance by using very little white space while having the appearance of an abundance of white space by adding the image in the background and the text above it.
GRA-340-Q6115 Typography 23 EW6 This school project was a typography portrait of actor Vincent Price. The assignment was to take an influential figure and create a portrait using typography. The assignment was to use only one font family the selection for the font family was league gothic. By using multiple tools in Adobe Illustrator such as combining the pen tool with the type tool, or warp. By using simple black and white I was able to achieve strong contrast and able to use visual hierarchy by varying the sizes and direction of the type, consistency in the design is what makes it work.
Com-232-T3216 Desktop Publishing project, Pasta Amore brochure is the second of the three pieces that were created for this class project. To keep a cohesive feel to the project the same typography, and colors were used as similar shapes with banners. This was an artifact that was meant to be used as marketing material for a tabletop display.
Com-232-T3216 Desktop Publishing project Pasta Amore menu. The project aimed to create three types of graphics for a fictitious brand called Pasta Amore. this artifact is the menu that was developed. Students were provided a brand style guide, brand colors, and guidelines that had to be followed. The goal was to use the warm color pallet to create a welcoming experience for the client and viewers. By using elements and principles of design shape versus line, hierarchy with the typography, and repetitive shapes to create balance.
GRA 290 Project Two the Global Clean Water Initiative, the purpose of the project was to raise awareness of a global clean water initiative and obtain volunteers. The target audience was employees professionals in the community and individuals with families. We had a selection of four vicinities to choose from my selection was that of Mexico which played highly in my design. By creating my graphics and keeping a gender-neutral image using colors of the heritage I played off a color palette using muted colors and a red color trying to work off the Mayan heritage of the Mexican community. Being sympathetic to the culture and not using typical sugar skull images That have been associated with the Mexican culture. This flyer uses high typography although risky using a script I felt that it was beneficial to the flyer.
GRA-470-13456-M01 User Interface and Experience project purpose was to develop a poster for a fictional client that contained created graphs as an infographic. The graphic shows an 8-year study of how social media and networking sites grew in popularity. In this project, I used several icons that were located with royalty-free credit options. The colors used through the artifact are the brand colors and are emphasized with the highly contrasting black icons.
GRA-340-Q6115 Typography 23 EW6 This assignment was a project for a museum magazine flyer. The software used was Adobe in design the purpose of this was to attract a new younger audience to a new exhibit at the museum. Working with simplicity with balance, and the use of typography these simple designs are effective and upbeat. I wanted this design to reach the child and give an innocent feel to the final composition.
COM-230-T2685 Graphics & Layout Print Media 22EW2 In this project for the upper crust bakery, the goal was to create a series of marketing materials for a fictional brand called the upper crust bakery. This specific assignment was for the local design and color compositions. Showing not only good composition but also bad color choices for the specific logo. For example, in black and white the pink logo was the one that was selected for the final composition. Green and purple although beautifully contrasting colors were an example of a poor color composition for this global type. I feel that the color choices were effective in relaying the emotion behind a pleasant food experience. Although in this scenario the bakery was known for its breads and having an older clientele. The assignment was to attract a younger audience.

Continuing with the upper-crust bakery stationery in this design you will see several components an envelope, letterhead, and a business card design. was to continue with the gradation of the colors in the logo and keep simplicity the design the three colored designs for cost-effective printing. Each of these elements does have the logo included with the print along with the company colors
GRA-470-12345-M01 User interface and Experience project was to develop three digital train ticket designs using Adobe product XD. The requirements were to have a seating chart a Wi-Fi button and basic location to and from and name information. In the three mock-ups that were created, I used different elements of design first line versus shape, second the use of contrasting colors, and third high contrast with a traditional transport ticket appearance.
